How do I qualify?
Application fee: $40 per person, 18 and older (non-refundable).
- Net monthly income of at least 3 times the rent (two applicants may combine income).
- Your last 3 pay stubs. Cash, handwritten or self-made income records are not accepted.
- At least 6 months at your current job, or steady work with no gaps.
- Permanent employment (not a temp service) that can be verified.
- Good, verifiable rental history. Exceptions may be considered under age 24.
- No unpaid rent or utilities owed (Georgia Power, Liberty Utilities, Columbus Water Works) and no past evictions unless the landlord was paid in full.
- Utilities must be placed in your name at lease signing, with clearance letters.
After approval
Bring separate money orders or cashier's checks for the security deposit and first month's rent. Full rent is due at lease signing; any prorated amount is due the following month.
A non-refundable holding fee equal to one month's rent takes the apartment off the market and is applied to your security deposit at move-in.
All new residents must enroll in monthly automatic payments with an active checking or debit card account.
